Windows 10 Support Ends October 14, 2025
Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 will reach End of Support on October 14, 2025. After this date, devices running Windows 10 will:
- ❌ No longer receive security updates or bug fixes
- ❌ Lose access to Microsoft support services
- ❌ Face reduced compatibility with newer software and hardware
- ❌ Become more vulnerable to cyber threats

EOFY: $20,000 Instant Asset Write-Off Extended
From 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025, small businesses with an annual turnover under $10 million can take advantage of the extended $20,000 Instant Asset Write-Off.
What this means for your business:
- ✅ Instantly deduct each eligible asset costing under $20,000
- ✅ No limit to the number of assets you can claim
- 📉 Larger assets can be depreciated via the small business pool (15% in year one, 30% thereafter)
- 🧾 Pool balances under $20,000 at EOFY can also be written off
